We had a beautiful day for our KMGS picnic at Nixon park in Hartland.
About 25 to 30 members showed up to “talk rocks”, show off what they have found so far this summer, swap stories, and make plans for future field trips.
And of course EAT.
John Rettler presented a new feature that the board decided on and that is to honor members that have contributed a great deal to the club and have been long time members. They will have an horary place on a display board to be viewed at our annual Rock and Gem show.
First 2 members to be so honored are Bernice McCloskey and Janet Schmitt.
